During the last years, a poster prize for the best poster presented was given to three participants at ESACT Meetings. This year, the scientific committee has decided to change the procedure to come back to the original idea, that young scientists in the field should be given the opportunity to present their work to the audience. In addition, we wanted to give those interested a chance to participate in the decision process of selecting the Poster Prize. Therefore this year the poster committee will evaluate all posters presented and select the 20 posters it considers most interesting and attractive. This first screening will be finished on Tuesday evening. The selected presenters will then be asked to give a short, five minute presentation of their results, followed by a vote of the audience on who will receive the three poster prizes this year. We hope that as many of you as possible will attend this session, which will take place on Wednesday afternoon. We look forward to your presentations!! |
